The Riverina Dairy

The Riverina Dairy brand was born out of a well-equipped and experienced Family Owned, 100% Australian, Riverina Cheese operation. The Riverina Dairy takes its name from the agricultural heartland of Australia where it’s facility is located. The Riverina is otherwise known as ‘Australia’s Food Bowl’, is located in south western NSW bordered on the south by the state of Victoria and on the east by the Great Dividing Range.

It is here, just outside Corowa, that The Riverina Dairy raises its cattle and produces the high quality milk which is then transported just 70km down the road to be used to make The Riverina Dairy’s premium cheese and yoghurt.

The Riverina Dairy brand is rapidly becoming renowned for producing the finest quality dairy products for all Australian families to enjoy.

Fresh is key

What distinguishes Riverina Dairy from some of other dairy producers is that we control production of the milk and the transportation of it to our production facility. This enables us to ensure we use only the highest quality milk which is chilled, transported and used in production within hours of our cows being milked.

Our dairy farm is located in Corowa, and is one of the largest and most modern dairy operations in Australia. All of our cows are on farm bred Holstein Friesians, which has allowed us to develop a dairy herd which provides an industry leading standard of milk quality day in, day out.

The Dairy

The Riverina is renowned for its clean air, rich fertile soils, temperate climate and high rain fall, which together have allowed the region to develop into one of the most productive and agriculturally diverse areas of Australia, making it famous for producing high-quality clean produce.

As Riverina Dairy sources its milk requirement from its own dairy farm, it does not intend to purchase milk from other dairy farms during the 2020/21 milk year and has therefore not published a standard form of agreement for milk supply.
