HALOUMI PICNIC BAGUETTE

Ingredients

  • 900g block Riverina Dairies Haloumi
  • Honey
  • 1 baguette
  • 1/2 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  •  Whole egg mayo
  • 80g fresh rocket
  • Optional you could add chilli flakes

Haloumi Picnic Baguette

Step 1. Slice haloumi into thick pieces and then grill on a hot griddle pan until golden on both sides

Step 2. When almost cooked through*, drizzle with honey

Step 3. Slice open your baguette and add rocket, cucumber, chicken, mayo
and hot honey haloumi.  

Step 4. Slice into portions and pack for your picnic

Delicious, simple and made for sharing.

Notes
*Haloumi is cooked through when there are grill marks on both sides of the cheese and the inside has softened.
