Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 400g Riverina Dairy Haloumi, cut into thick slices
- 8 slices Streaky D’orsogna Bacon, rind off
- 4 Brioche Buns, split and toasted
- 1 head Baby Cos, leaves separated
- 1 large Tomato, thinly sliced
- 2 Dill Pickles, thickly sliced
- 3 tbs Hummus
Haloumi Bacon Burger with the lot
- Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Add a little oil and gently fry eggs to a degree that makes you happy then remove them from the pan.
- Next, cook the bacon over medium-high until crispy and golden.
- Drain on paper towel (Chux), then add the haloumi and cook until golden crust forms, this may take 3-4 minutes.
- Flip over and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
- Warm the burger buns, then place the cheese on the base and layer up with bacon, egg, tomato, pickles, lettuce and hummus.
